I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Taubaté in 1993, and subsequently completed my Master's and Doctoral degrees at the University of São Paulo, culminating in a Ph.D. in Sciences in 2002. Along my professional journey, I contributed as a postdoctoral researcher in projects within the Departments of Immunology (2003) and the Biotechnology Program (ICB/USP - 2007), thus fortifying my expertise in Microbiology and Biotechnology. In 2011, I augmented my academic pursuits by enrolling in the Specialization Program in Environmental Management and Business in the Energy Sector, hosted by the Institute of Electrotechnics and Energy at the University of São Paulo. I also engaged in a postdoctoral role in the "Phenotypic Screening and Drug Repurposing for Covid-19" project, affiliated with the Strategic Emergency Program for Prevention and Combat of Outbreaks, Endemics, Epidemics, and Pandemics (CAPES-EPIDEMICS, 2020-2022). Beyond my academic pursuits, I hold a crucial position as a Collaborating Researcher and General Coordinator of the Biocientista Mirim University Extension Project (ICB/USP), dedicated to advancing scientific literacy among students and educators in both public and private primary and secondary schools. Additionally, I devote my time as a volunteer in the Rondon Project, underscoring my dedication to social and community-driven initiatives. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
