Luciana Domingues de Oliveira

Luciana Oliveira holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), Campus de Jaboticabal, in 2002. She has a Masters and Doctorate degree in Veterinary Clinic of small animals, with a research area in Dog and Cat Nutrition by the same University in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He completed his PhD at Ludwig Maximilians Universität in Munich (Germany) in 2007 in the area of #8203;#8203;animal nutrition and dietetics. His research since 2001 has focused on nutrient study and nutritional assessment of commercial ingredients and foods for dogs, cats and wildlife. She is the author or co-author of more than 20 scientific publications and book chapters in the area of #8203;#8203;nutrition, 12 of which are published in international scientific journals. She worked for almost 5 years at the Royal Canin do Brasil, in the area of #8203;#8203;Scientific Communication directed to the Veterinary Channel. Since 2010 she is a full member of the technical committee of the Brazilian College of Animal Nutrition (CBNA). She was a Professor and Researcher of the Undergraduate and Master's Program in Veterinary Medicine at UNISA, in the area of #8203;#8203;Dog and Cat Nutrition for 2.5 years. She also held a specialized consultation on Clinical Nutrition of Dogs and Cats at Pet Care units in São Paulo and consulting for companies in the area of #8203;#8203;formulation and development of pet food.
