Marcio Fernando Gomes

She holds a bachelor's degree in Geography (1997); a degree in Geography (1998); a master's degree in Human Geography (2001); a doctorate in Sciences, area of Human Geography (2006), all from the University of São Paulo. He has a specialization in Education and Technologies: Teacher Training in Digital Culture from Department of Education of the Federal University of São Carlos UFSCar (2021-2023). He carried out post-doctoral research in Education, with a stay at the University of Barcelona, Spain (2020-2021). He worked as a teacher, researcher and coordinator of high school, undergraduate and graduate courses at the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of São Paulo (2006-2013): coordinator of the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Course in Professional Education Integrated to Basic Education in the Modality of Youth and Adults - PROEJA (2008); coordinator of Course/Area of Science, Society and Culture - CSC (2009-2010); coordinator of the Degree Course in Geography (2011-2013); Institutional coordinator of the Institutional Program of Scholarship for Initiation to Teaching - PIBID/CAPES of IFSP (2011-2013). He is currently an adjunct professor and researcher at the Department of Geography, Tourism and Humanities of the Federal University of São Carlos (2013-present): vice-coordinator of the Degree Course in Geography (2017-2018); area coordinator of the Subproject of the Degree in Geography of PIBID/CAPES (2014-2018); area coordinator of the Geography Degree Centre of the Pedagogical Redidency/CAPES (2023-2024); coordinator of the Study Group Epistemology of Geography: theory, method and methodologies in research and teaching of Geography (2015-atual); coordinator of the Degree Course in Geography (2022-present) . Area coordinator of the Geography Degree Subproject of PIBID/CAPES (2024-Present). Attending a specialization course in Education and Technologies: Production and Use of Technologies for Education from Department of Education of the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2023-present). She has experience in the area of Human Geography, in the following themes: economy; finance; epistemology, theory, method and methodology; as well as, in the area of Education: Freirean studies and research on dialogical and interdisciplinary teaching-learning of Geography in the context of globalization and the information society.
