Has experience in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics and Biostatistics. Active mainly on the following themes: pattern formation through symmetry breaking and synchrony breaking in dynamical systems and their applications in biomathematics; stochastic processes applied to the modeling of viral evolution and gene expression; bioinformatics and statistical genômicas with applications in molecular biology.
