I teach literature and work as a translator. I am also an independent scholar. I received my Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of São Paulo in 2018, an M.A. in American Literature in 2011 and a B.A. in English and Portuguese from the same university in 2005. My research focuses on the connections between American literature, history, society, cinema, modern art and popular culture in the 20th century. I have academic and research experience in American Literature, Cinema Studies and Cultural Studies. I have also specialized in and worked with translating and interpreting. I taught English at UNIESP and Universidade Nove de Julho, where I also taught Interpreting. I am a member of The F. Scott Fitzgerald Society. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
