Currently works as a Researcher at the Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa - Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Expertise in Immunology, focusing on Cellular Immunology, and cell death pathways. Coordinates two resarch groups, the first studying the role of cell death in several pathophysiologies and the other developing gene therapy protocols for genetic diseases, including sickle cell disease and epydermolysis bullosa.
