Edson Luiz França Senne

Senior Professor of the Department of Mathematics (DMA) of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences of the Guaratinguetá Campus (FEG) of the São Paulo State University (UNESP). Retired Full Professor (2020) at DMA/FEG/UNESP. Visiting Full Professor (2020-2022) at the Institute of Science and Technology (ICT) at the São José dos Campos Campus of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). Collaborating Professor of the Graduate Program in Operations Research at UNIFESP-ITA (2021-). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from FEG/UNESP (1974), a Master's degree in Electronics and Computing Engineering from ITA - Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1980), a PhD in Applied Computing from INPE - Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (1987) and a postdoctoral degree in Mathematical Programming from Brunel University, England (1994). Research Productivity Scholarship from CNPq - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development in the periods 1999-2009 (Level 2) and 2009-2018 (Level 1D). He held the positions of Deputy Chief of the DMA (1988-1990 and 1992-1994), Technical Director of Informatics at FEG (1988-1992 and 1996-2000) and Chief Advisor of Informatics at the Rectory of UNESP (2010-2017). He has experience in the areas of Computer Science and Operations Research, working mainly on the following topics: Linear and Discrete Optimization, Decision Support Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems and Programming Languages.
