Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP/Jaboticabal) (2002); Professional Improvement in Clinical Surgery and Anesthesiology of Large Animals at the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP/Jaboticabal) (2003-2005); Master's Degree in Veterinary Surgery (2006-2007) and Doctorate in Veterinary Surgery (2007-2009), from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP/Jaboticabal). Approved as Full Professor by the University of São Paulo, in October 2020, in the area of Equine Gastroenterology. She is currently Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA), Department of Veterinary Medicine, Course of Veterinary Medicine, area of expertise in Clinical Medicine and Surgery of Equines. Full professor and advisor of the PG Program in Animal Bioscience at FZEA/USP. She was coordinator of the Residency Program in the Professional Area of Health, Animal and Environmental Health (2014-2019) and vice coordinator for the quadrennium 2019-2022. She is a member of the coordinating committee of the Postgraduate FZEA / USP, member of the organizing committee of the MV course FZEA / USP and was a member of the department council (2014-2020). She provides clinical, surgical and obstetric care in the equine sector of the Veterinary Hospital of FZEA / USP. She has experience in the area of Clinical Surgery and Large Animal Anesthesiology, with an emphasis on gastroenterology, wound management and treatment, and regional intravenous perfusion in horses.
