Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I graduated with a degree in Biochemical Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ribeirão Preto - USP in 2003. My academic journey continued with a Masters degree in Genetics and Evolution from the Federal University of São Carlos in 200. I then pursued a Ph.D. in Biomolecular Physics at the Institute of Physics at São Carlos - USP, completing my studies in 2012. I completed a postdoctoral research at the Institute of Chemistry at São Carlos - USP (2016), investigating how the modulation of molecular chaperone activities in parasites, by candidate molecules, can influence parasitic viability. I was Specialist in Technological Development at the National Laboratory of Biosciences (LNBio), where I assisted users with biophysical analysis technologies and contributed to research focused on the structural and biochemical study of nuclear receptors. Additionally, I was part of a team dedicated to screening compounds with anti-aging activity derived from Brazilian flora, in collaboration with a pharmaceutical company. I also conducted biophysical analyses of biological drugs during both preclinical and post-registration phases for regulatory purposes.Currently, I am the Coordinator of the Molecular Biology Laboratory (LIMC) at the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology, where my primary focus is on developing methods for detecting biomarkers of cardiovascular diseases. This work contributes to creating diagnostic tools aimed at enhancing patient care. My expertise includes the production and biophysical and biochemical characterization of proteins, as well as protein-protein and protein-ligand interaction assays. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
