Doctorate's in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2012), MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1995) and bachelor's at Engenharia Elétrica from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1991). Has experience in the area of Electric Power, with emphasis on Electric Power Systems, working mainly in the topics related to the planning and programming of short-term operation, optimized dispatch, and simulation of the operation of hydroelectric plants with reservoirs.
