Graduated at Physical Education from the University of São Paulo (1997) and PhD in Physical Education from the University of São Paulo (2006). Postdoctoral in the area of #8203;#8203;Medical Genetics and Molecular Biology held at Instituto do Coração (InCor-FMUSP) by the School of Physical Education and Sport of the University of São Paulo (2009). Postdoc at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), under the supervision of Prof. Ulrik Wisloff (2014). She has experience in the field of Physical Education, with emphasis on Exercise Physiology, working mainly on the following topics: physical training, cardiac function, cardiac hypertrophy, skeletal muscle, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. She is a level IV associate professor at the Federal University of São Paulo, Baixada Santista campus. She is accredited as a supervisor in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health Sciences at Campus Baixada Santista, concentration area Basic Mechanisms and Biological Processes in Health, sub-area Interdisciplinary strategies in experimental research of endocrine and metabolic diseases and concentration area Promotion, Prevention and Health Rehabilitation, sub-area Interdisciplinary Strategies in Health Promotion, Prevention and Rehabilitation.
