Simone Beatriz Lima Ranieri

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1993), Master in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1996), PhD in Soils and Plant Nutrition from the University of São Paulo (2000) and Post Doctorate in the areas of erosion modeling (2008) and evaluation of public policies aimed at family farming (2019), both by the University of São Paulo. Technical training, with national and international experience - United States and Asia - in the development of projects for companies, public agencies and NGO. Expertise on the development, analysis and monitoring of sustainability indicators; corporate social and environmental responsibility programs; territorial planning projects, modeling and simulation of environmental scenarios and impacts of programs and projects evaluation. Expertise on techniques of geoprocessing (Geographic Information Systems - GIS). Experience on forestry and agricultural certification, including mapping of High Conservation Value Areas (HCV). Expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment - EIA - of enterprises, with emphasis on surveying and mapping the physical environment; prospecting of areas for agricultural and forest expansion, including analysis of agricultural aptitude, zoning of climatic risk and evaluation of expansion scenarios, considering potential and restrictions of the physical environment, legislation, infrastructure and logistics. Currently works with studies and projects for the development and impact assessment of public policies, programs and projects, as a member of the Public Policy Group of ESALQ - GPP / Esalq / USP.
