Ionara Costa obtained a PhD and MPhil in Science and Technology Policy from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. During her PhD studies, she was a visiting student at the Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford. Fields of interest and specialisation include different aspects of the relation between multinational corporations (and their subsidiaries) and innovation and development, in the particular context of more advanced developing economies. Ionara worked at the UNU-Merit between 2004-2008, and is currently a Marie Cure Fellow at Centrim, Brighton University. She is on the innovation process and knowledge transfer within multinationals from developing economies, more specifically those from Latin American countries. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
