Vivian Caroline Klein

She got a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil, (2002) and a master's in Medical Sciences (Mental Health) from Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil (2005). She is a Ph.D student at Mental Health Graduate Program at Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo, supervisioned by Dr. Maria Beatriz Martins Linhares. She did part of her Ph.D studies at University of Maryland, College Park, US, working at The Child Development Lab, supervisisoned by Dr. Nathan Fox. She is an alumna member of the Pain in Child Health Trainning Consortium, sponsored by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canada. She has experience in Developmental Psychology, Preventive Psychology and Developmental Psychopatology, acting on the following subjects: emotional self-regulation, temperament, physiological correlates of temperament and behavior, mother-child interaction, early exposure and reactivity to pain and stress, premature birth, pain in childhood.
