Alexander Machado Auad

Agronomist from the Federal University of Lavras (1993), master's degree in Agronomy (Entomology) from the Federal University of Lavras (1996) and doctorate in Agronomy (Entomology) from the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of Jaboticabal (FCAV) (2000). He is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa. He has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Agricultural Entomology, working mainly on Integrated Management of Pasture Pests with emphasis on plant resistance to insects, biological control with predators and pathogens, ecological studies in silvopastoral environment and the impact of climatic factors on insect x plant interaction.
