Gilberto Vaz Teixeira

Graduated in Medicine at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1988) and Ph.D. in Medicine (Clinical Surgery) at University of São Paulo (1996). He is currently a specialist in head and neck surgery and oncology by the Regional Council of Medicine, member and occupying the post of third vice-president of the Brazilian Society of Head and Neck Surgery (SBCCP), founding member of the Association of Postgraduate Course for Head and Neck Surgery of FMUSP, acts as head and neck surgeon and oncologist at CEPON (Florianópolis), also working in private practice at South Bay Hospital Day; junior member of International College of Surgeons.
