Birthplace: Brazil

PhD in History (2011), Law (2019) and Letters (2020), Master in History (2007), Bachelor in History (2003) Law (2018) and Letters (2020). He is currently Professor of Latin Language and Literature at FFLCH-USP. He carried out post-doctoral research at the University of Cambridge, between 2012 and 2014, as a Royal Society fellow, at USP, between 2015 and 2017, as a FAPESP fellow, and at UNICAMP, between 2020 and 2022, with grants from CAPES and FAPESP. He is a member of SBEC - Brazilian Society of Classical Studies. Visiting Professor at the University of Burgundy (2007-2009), the University of Copenhagen (October and November 2009), among other institutions. He was Professor of Philology and Classical Letters at UFRJ (2021) and is currently Professor of Latin Language and Literature at FFLCH-USP. His research focuses on classical philology, with special attention to disciplinary interactions and problems of method in the human sciences. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
