I am Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo. I have experience in Psychobiology, with emphasis on the following topics: adolescence, education, prevention, risk behaviors, health promotion and neuroscience. Coordinator of the research group CIENCIA (INTERDISCIPLINARY CENTER FOR STUDIES IN NEUROSCIENCE OF ADOLESCENT BEHAVIOR) registered as a CNPq research directory. Founder and Coordinator of REEDUCA-AD (Brazilian Network of Science and Education on Alcohol and Drugs), whose portal is www.reeduca-ad.org and was funded by CNPq.Coordinator of the postgraduate course Education and Health in Childhood and Adolescence at UNIFESP (2017-2019). Head of the discipline of Medicine and Sociology of Drug Abuse (DIMESAD) at UNIFESP (2012 to 2016). She was vice coordinator (2006-2012) of the distance education course SUPERA (System for detection of abuse and dependence on psychoactive substances: referral, brief intervention, Social reintegration and Monitoring) of SENAD (National Secretariat of Drug Policy) of the Federal Government, offered to more than 75 thousand health professionals from all over Brazil, and later Pedagogical Coordinator (2016-2017). She is a member of AMERSA (Association for Medical Education and Research in Substance Abuse) and ABRAMD (Brazilian Multidisciplinary Association of Drug Studies). Coordinates research related to neuroscience, education and health, with emphasis on adolescence, drug use and other risk behaviors, prevention and health promotion. Graduated more than 20 Master's and 08 Doctoral students and 27 final course work projects. Participated in multicenter projects developed by the World Health Organization. Participates in several projects in collaboration with other Brazilian universities and other departments of UNIFESP. Ad hoc consultant for FAPESP, CNPq and numerous scientific journals. Published 7 national books, 4 international books, numerous technical educational materials, book chapters, and scientific articles in national and international journals. Visiting professor at San Francisco State University (2018). Associate Editor of the scientific periodical International Journal of Psychology and Neuroscience.
