Bachelor's degree in History (2004) and Teaching degree in Languages and Literature (2014) by the State University of Campinas, and a master's degree in History by the same university (2007) with fundings from FAPESP. PhD in Literary Theory and History (2017) at State University of Campinas with fundings from CNPq, having completed one year (2014-2015) at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with fundings from CAPES. Her thesis is concerned with Jane Austen's current popularity and modern sequels to her novels. Post-Doctoral research at University of São Paulo (2018-2019) with fundings from FAPESP. She is currently Professor of English Literature and English Language at the Federal University of Alfenas, focusing her research on women's literature, prose and poetry, from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and on the connections between literature and the other arts.
