Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at FZEA/USP. Veterinarian (FMVZ/USP), Associate Professor in Genetics, Epigenetics and Animal Biotechnology (2022). Master's, doctorate and post-doctorate degrees in studies of cellular reprogramming by gene induction to pluripotency and nuclear transfer, stem cells and animal models. Research focuses on the use of cellular reprogramming for biomedical, veterinary and biotechnological applications (in vitro gametogenesis, cultivated meat and other models). Received the CAPES Thesis Award in 2014 and the Outstanding Researcher Award from the Brazilian Society of Embryo Technology (SBTE) in 2024. Full advisor of the Postgraduate Programs in Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals (CAPES 7) of FMVZ/USP and Biosciences (CAPES 5) of FZEA/USP. Has been responsible for several research projects, including Young Investigator (FAPESP), Universal (CNPq), CAPES and international non-governmental institutions (e.g., GFI). Member of the SBTE board 2018-2024. President of the Internal Biosafety Committee (CiBio), vice coordinator of the Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals (CEUA), vice coordinator of the Veterinary Medicine Program (CoC-MV).
