Vladimir Chaves dos Santos

Graduated (1998), Master's (2002) and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the State University of Campinas (2009). Post Doctorate at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (2015). He is an associate professor at the State University of Maringá. He has experience in the area of Philosophy, with an emphasis on History of Philosophy, working mainly on the following topics: philosophy of Giambattista Vico, tradition of rhetoric, philosophy of Francis Bacon, philosophy of history in antiquity and in Plato. He is currently researching the relationship between metaphysics and poetry in Vico; he is also involved with the translation of Vico's Latin and Italian works. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
