Associate Professor in the Department of History at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp). Graduated in History (1993) and PhD (2007) in Social History at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Postdoctoral fellowship with the Postgraduate Program in History at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Giselle Martins Venancio, with a scholarship from FAPERJ, from September 2022 to August 2023. Resident Researcher at the Biblioteca Brasiliana Guita e José Mindlin, based at the Universidade de São Paulo (BBM-USP), from November 2019 to October 2020. Interested in topics related to the theory of history, the history of Brazilian historiography, intellectual history and ideas, and the history of books, publishing and reading. He is a founding member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Teoria e História da Historiografia (SBTHH) and the Red Iberoamericana de História de la Historiografía (RIHH) and member of the International Network for the Theory of History (INTH) and Red Latinoamericana de Cultura Grafica (Red-CG). This research aims to analyze the production and reception processes of the book As Ciências no Brasil (1955 and 1994) in its historicals and intellectuals context with attention to its organizer, Fernando de Azevedo (1894-1974), and the authorial function that played a role in the historiography of science in Brazil. To do this, we mainly use the approach of the Book History.
