Lucas Ferrari de Oliveira

I graduated (1998) in Computer Science from the University of Marília (UNIMAR), MS in Electrical Engineering (2000) from the São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (EESC-USP), PhD (2005) in Medical Sciences (Clinical Medicine - Biomedical Research) from the School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). He is currently a titular professor at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in the Department of Informatics (DInf) and is a collaborating professor in the Graduate Programs in Informatics at UFPR. He was coordinator of the Biomedical Informatics course at UFPR. He has experience in Computer Science, with emphasis on Medical Image Processing, working mainly on the following topics: pulmonary nodule detection, histopathology images and x-rays.
