Former professional football athlete. Since 1996 he has worked as a researcher and teacher in the area of #8203;#8203;Physical Education and Sport. Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP) at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH-USP) - Physical Education and Health Course (EFS-USP). Doctorate (2006) and Master's Degree (1999) in Physical Education from the University of São Paulo in the area of #8203;#8203;Biodynamics of Human Movement. Advisor in the Postgraduate Program (Master's) in Physical Activity Sciences (CAF / EACH-USP). Research member of the Physical Activity Sciences Laboratory (LABCAF-USP), Leader of the Research Group on Motor Capacities and Skills (GEPCHAM-USP) and Vice Leader of the Research Group on Biological Adaptations to Physical Exercise (GABEF-USP) . Expertise in the area of Physical Education and Sports, with an emphasis on High Performance Sports, working mainly on the following topics: (i) detection, selection and promotion of sporting talents, (ii) human growth and development, (iii) motor development, (iv) youth sports, (v) long-term training, (vi) coach development programs.
