Associate professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Science (FCF) of the University of São Paulo (USP). He is pharmacisty by Federal University of the Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, received his Master (2004) and PhD (2008) in Drug and Medicines from the University of São Paulo and the University of New Mexico/USA. Had postdoctoral position in medicinal chemistry at the University of São Paulo. He is leader of the Laboratory of the integration between experimental and computational methods in drug design at the FCF, University of São Paulo. His research is focused on the integration of the experimental and computational methods in the discovery and development of new drugs. He is active member of the Brasilian Chemical Society, and working in the Medicinal Chemistry division as Chair (2022-2024) and Vice-Chair (2020-2022).
