Leizer Schnitman

Researcher and Full Professor at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) - Polytechnic School.Degree in Electrical Engineering (UFBA-1989), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering (UFBA-1998) and a DSc in Electronic and Computer Engineering (Technological Institute of Aeronautics, ITA-2001). President of the IEEE Bahia Section in the 2008-2009 biennium and Coordinator of the Engineering Chamber of the Bahia State Research Support Foundation (FAPESB) from 2004 to 2008.He currently works as an ad-hoc consultant for CAPES, CNPq, FAPESB and FAPESP. General coordinator of the Technological Training Center in Industrial Automation (CTAI), a set of labs at the UFBA Polytechnic School. Research projects coordinator, with emphasis on projects in partnership with Petrobras which deal with themes as artificial lift, vibration, automation, control and also tools for analysis, diagnosis and decision-making assistance.
