I graduated in Forest Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (1996), improvement in the Soil Department of UFV (1997), master's degree in Forest Science [Esalq] from the University of São Paulo (2001) and doctorate in Forest Resources from USP (2005) . I am currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, permanent teacher in Tropical Biodiversity, at the Federal University of Amapá. Minister disciplines forest management in the Amazon and ecology of ecosystems, also participating in the disciplines sustainable use of Amazonian ecosystems and field ecology. During undergraduate and graduate work with forestry and use of waste land, mainly in the following themes: land reclamation, use of sewage sludge, nutrient cycling and seed dispersal. In Embrapa Amapá, has been working for the valuation of standing forests and conservation of the Amazon forest through its use, with emphasis on the lowland floodplain forests of the Amazon estuary (Florestam project) and in the forests with Brazilnut (Kamukaia project). I am currently focused on forest management and ecology, for enable the sustainable use of Amazonian biodiversity (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
