Forensic Expert of Brazilian Federal Police since 2007, he has worked at the Forensic Chemistry Group in Curitiba, at the Service of Forensics Laboratory and Ballistics (SEPLAB) in the National Institute of Criminalistics in Brasilia and currently he is the head of the Criminalistics Unit in Uberlândia/Minas Gerais state. He holds a bachellor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1996), Master degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2000), PhD in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2005) and postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of Uberlândia (2005 and 2006 ). He participated in SEPLAB's Environmental Review Group and Interpol's Environmental Crime Programme-Pollution Crimes. Researcher in Forensic Chemistry of a multicentred research project, Member of the Brazilian Academy of Forensic Sciences and member of the GOIA Nucleus of the Federal Police, a specialized grupo to combat crimes against Cultural Heritage.
