Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor of Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2001). Master (2003) in Sciences, with emphasis on Physical Chemistry, where she developed research (FAPESP scholarship) on biomolecules in the ground and excited states, using electronic structure simulations, at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo (IQSC / USP). Ph.D. (2007) in sciences, with emphasis on Physical Chemistry, where she developed research (CAPES scholarship) on semiconductor organic materials, employing electronic structure simulations, at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo (IQSC / USP). In her post-doctorate (PNPD-CAPES scholarship), she developed researches on semiconductor polymers applying methods of electronic structure and atomistic molecular dynamics at the São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC / USP) and São Paulo Institute of Physics (IF / USP). She is currently a professor (Associate IV) at the Physics Department (Institute of Exact and Biological Sciences) at the Federal University of Ouro Preto - UFOP. She received the H. Gorceix Medal (2013). Prof. Siqueira lead the Molecular Materials Simulation Group (MolSMat). She joined the national network of researchers from the National Institute of Science and Technology in Organic Electronics INEO - INCT/CNPq, being a member of the INEO Management Committee since 2015. Her research focuses on phenomena associated with pi-conjugated organic systems employed as semiconductor and for biotechnology, using electronic structure methods based on Quantum Mechanics, simulations of Classical Molecular Dynamics, and hybrid methods.
