Medical Doctor at the State University of Campinas (1996), specialist in Pathological Anatomy at the State University of Campinas (1999) and Harvard University (2000). I did a PhD in Parasitology by USP (2008), on malaria, being honored with the Capes de Theses Award - Biological Area III in 2009. P'os-doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch (2002). Specialist in Chinese Homeopathy and Body Practices. Professor of Medicine at the Federal University of Acre, Master in Public Health between 2008 and 2021. Currently working at Federal University of Sao Carlos, SP. I have experience in the field of Parasitology and Epidemiology, with an special interest in the area of #8203;#8203;Human Protozoology and Epidemiology of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases in the Amazon, as well as in Integrative Practices of Traditional Medicine.
