Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Physics from UNESP (1973), MSc in Sciences (Nuclear Energy in Agriculture) from the University of São Paulo (1976) and PhD in Agronomy (Soils and Plant Nutrition) from the University of São Paulo (1982). He developed two postdoctoral periods in the USA (1985-1986 and 1992-1994), working with applications of Chaos Theory and Complex Systems in Applied Physics. He obtained the title of Adjunct Professor in 1992 and that of Full Professor in 1998 at the State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Botucatu-SP. Has experience in the areas of Applied Physics to the soil-plant system, Plant Nutrition and Applied Physics to other biological and natural systems. His emphasis in the last fifteen years was in the areas of health and transdisciplinary education, with University Extension and Scientific Public Divulgation work. In 2013, he retired from UNESP and is now Coordinator of the Vitta Espaço Saúde in Londrina-PR working on themes related to integrative health, using mainly floral essences and the approach of Archetypal Astrology based on the research of Richard Tarnas to understand the functioning of the human psyche, its crises and its evolutions. In this new work he uses the concepts of Chaos Theory, Complex Systems and Quantum Physics, using the transdisciplinary approach and the more open visions of spirituality in the search for self-knowledge as an instrument of integral healing of the human being, before the somatization of pathologies.
