Graduation in Dentistry at FOB-USP (1991), Master's (2000) and Doctorate (2005) in Dentistry (Dentistry) at FOB USP. Participated in the Sandwich Doctorate program at Medical College of Georgia in the United States, from August/2003 to July/2004, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Rueggeberg and Dr. Pashley, with CNPq scholarship. He has a Post-Doctorate in Applied Physics, with an emphasis on Materials Science, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Carlos Graeff from UNESP, with a grant financed by CNPq (PDJ), from February / 2012 to May / 2013. He also has a specialization in Dentistry and Public Health. He worked as a permanent professor in the Master's and Doctorate Program in Biotechnology and Health Innovation (recommended by CAPES) guiding undergraduate and graduate students and also teaching classes in the disciplines of Biomaterials Sciences, Teaching and Research Methodology, Advanced Seminars, Advanced Topics in polymers and ceramics, among others. He also served as professor of the Dentistry Course at the Anhanguera University of São Paulo (UNIAN-SP), in the disciplines of Integrated Clinic for Primary Care and Biomaterials in Dentistry, among others. He also served as Professor of the Academic Master's Course in Science and Health Teaching at the same institution. He worked in the academic area and in companies in product development, and in consulting for the elaboration of research projects for submission to funding agencies (PIPE Fapesp, Inovatec CNPq, Catalisa ICT). Participated in several training courses in the innovation area (Innovation Management, Catalisa ICT Sebrae, INPI) for market research, study of solutions (products or services) and innovation plan. Worked in the development of products for bone grafting for guided bone regeneration. He appears as an inventor in a patent deposit for an Endodontic Irrigating Formulation based on Propolis (BR1020190043709). He has worked on the following themes: development of dental products, use of herbal medicines in dentistry, prospecting for synthetic and natural bioactive compounds with remineralizing action on dental tissues, synthesis and characterization of composites for bone grafting, synthesis and characterization of dental ceramics, clinical research and laboratories with adhesive restorations (composite resins, resin cements, dentin adhesives), interaction of restorative materials with dental tissues, accelerated aging protocols of resinous materials, among others.
