Post doctoral Researcher at the Department of Physics at University of Louisville (2008-2012). Post Doctoral Researcher at IMEC Leuven, Belgium working with BioSensors for DNA characterization (2012-2015). Have experience on Microengineering processes and devices focus on microfluidics, physical thin film deposition (sputtering, evaporator and atomic layer deposition), MEMS-piezoelectric actuators and planar waveguide spectroscopy. Currently working as associate researcher at IMEC at the microfluidics team of the Life Science and Technologies Department on the development and characterization of miniaturized devices for point of care applications.
