Graduate and Licenciate in Geography by Universidade de São Paulo (1971), master and PhD on Physical Geography - Soils, by Universidade de São Paulo (1979) with doctoral sandwich stage and post doctoral stage in INRA- France. Has experience in Geosciences, focusing on Pedology and Soil Geomorphology, acting on the following subjects: morphology and micromorphology, pedogenesis, physical hydrical behaviour of soil systems, soil and land systems, environmental impacts, suscetibility anda risks on soils (erosion, sedimentation, deforestation, use and management ). Participant of Organizing Commitees, incluidng chairman, of several nationa anda internaiocnal events on soil and geomophology. Coordenation of National as UNICAMP-UFG and Intenational Conventions as CAPES-COFECUB, Member of Consultants Team in several Financial Agences for Sientific Research as CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP and Journals as Brasylian Journal of Soil Scinece, of Geomorphology, Geografia (AGETEO) and others.
