The researcher holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1998), with a focus on ceramic materials. A master's degree in Engineering and Materials Science was completed at the Federal University of Ceará (2000), specializing in glassy materials. Subsequently, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering was obtained from the University of São Paulo (2009), with an emphasis on materials' characterization.Teaching activities commenced in 1999, encompassing various engineering courses, including Materials Engineering, Control and Automation, and Mechanical Engineering. The role of course coordinator was undertaken from 2000 to 2010 at the University of Fortaleza. Presently, the position held is Associate Professor IV (D-IV) at the Federal University of Itajubá, within the Institute of Mechanical Engineering.Expertise is centered within the field of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, with particular emphasis on Ceramics. Key research domains include thermoelectric ceramics, ceramic materials processing, sintering, and electronic instrumentation. Over the course of time, contributions have been made as a reviewer to several reputable academic journals, including the Revista Cerâmica, Materials Research, Journal of Applied Polymers Science, Powder Technology, and Journal of the American Ceramic Society.Accomplishments encompass 172 conference paper publications, 53 articles in esteemed journals, authorship of an industrial sensor-focused book, and deposition of 6 patents within the respective field of endeavor.
