Ricardo Lopes Tortorela de Andrade

Bachelor in Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (1994), master's degree (1997), and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos (2001). Currently, he is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, with expertise in the field of Chemistry, specializing in Analytical Chemistry, and working on the following topics: environmental monitoring, phytoremediation, bioindicators, and metal analysis. He served as the Undergraduate and Extension Supervisor at the University Campus of Sinop in 2009 and as the director of the Institute of Natural, Human, and Social Sciences at the University Campus of Sinop, UFMT, from 2010 to 2017. He is a Member of the Management Committee of the Multi-User Laboratory Network of UFMT and a professor in the undergraduate course in Agronomy and in the Postgraduate Programs in Environmental Sciences (Master's) and in Biotechnology and Biodiversity of the Pró-Centro-Oeste network (Doctorate).
