Juliana Ferreira Ribeiro de Miranda

Born in São Paulo, he studied a bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the Universidade Estadual Paulista UNESP-Campus de Rio Claro (1997) and a degree in Mathematics at Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz-São Paulo (1999). In 2002 he moved to Amazonas, where he studied a master's degree in mathematics at the Federal University of Amazonas-UFAM-Manaus (2006), and a doctorate in mathematics also at UFAM-Manaus (2015), with a sandwich period of one year at the Università degli Studi di Milano in Milan, Italy (2013-2014). His research area is Differential Geometry, with emphasis on Geometric Analysis. Professor at UFAM since 2006, she has worked on the campuses of Coari (2006-2008), Itacoatiara (2008-2010) and is currently Associate Professor I at the Department of Mathematics at UFAM in Manaus. Engaged with gender and diversity issues in the areas of STEM, she was chosen as an Ambassador of Mathematics by the Mathematics Substantivo Feminino platform (2021). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
