Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1993), MS in Functional and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (1996), Ph.D. in Functional and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (1999), post doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania - United (2002) and Purdue University - USA (2012/2013). He is currently full professor at the University of Campinas, Department of Biochemistry and Tissue Biology of the Institute of Biology. He is co-editor of the journal of Biochemistry Education (www.bioquimica.org.br), editor of the Biblioteca Digital de Ciências (www.bdc.ib.unicamp.br). He is a member of the editorial board of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education (BAMBED) and the education committee of the Pan-American Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PABMB). Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;biochemistry, with an emphasis in Teaching Biochemistry, acting on the following topics: educational software, teaching biochemistry, distance learning and biology education.
