Residence (R1 and R2) in the field of Animal Infectious Diseases at UNESP, FMVZ, Botucatu. Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo), Germany. Specialization in Microbiology and Veterinary Epidemics, Post-Doctorate and Post-Doctoral Internship at TiHo, Germany. He received six ?Votes of Praise? from FMVZ?s Faculty Committee for the extramural extension activities carried out. He was awarded by the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) as the coordinator of planning annual vaccination campaigns against canine rabies in cities, which were considered the ?Best Rabies Prevention and Control Events in Latin America and the Caribbean?. He received the ?Professional Merit of the Year Award? from the Rotary Club of Botucatu. He was thanked by the City Council of Évora, Portugal, for the promotion and development of veterinary public health projects in the city. He created the Veterinary Medicine Entrepreneurship Study Group (geeVet) at UNESP, FMVZ, Botucatu. He is the author of ?Planejamento de saúde para o controle da artrite-encefalite caprina?, ?Ensinando boas práticas aos manipuladores de alimentos? and ?Planejamento de campanha de vacinação anual contra a raiva de cães e gatos em cidades?, published by CAE, and RaivaMata app (with ISBN and INPI registration available in the Android store; pending review by Apple to be released in iOS and with QR code). He received five ?Certificates of Recognition? from the City Council of Botucatu, one for the book ?Ensinando boas práticas aos manipuladores de alimentos?, one for the ?Jogue lixo na lixeira? activity carried out by geeVet and three for the annual vaccination campaigns against rabies in cats and dogs.
