Jairo Kerr Azevedo

Senior management executive specialising in international commercialisation of medical equipment. Has extensive experience in the ophthalmology area, having worked in senior level positions in sales, technical support, service, marketing and product management. He worked in Australia with medical device multinationals such as Ellex Medical, an Australian manufacturer of ophthalmic lasers and Optos plc, a UK publicly listed manufacturer of wide-field retinal imaging systems. Jairo was a co-founder and CEO of Opto Global, a global distributor of ophthalmic devices which was sold to Optos plc in 2010. Jairo holds a bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Sao Paulo (1993) and obtained an MBA from the University of Adelaide in 2006. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
