Renata Valeriano Tonon

Degree (2002), master (2005) and Ph.D. (2009) in Food Engineering by the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with part of the Ph.D. performed at the Centre de Cooperation Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (CIRAD), at Montpellier/France. Experience in Food Engineering. Science and Technology,acting mainly on the following subjects: extraction, concentration and microencapsulation of bioactive compounds, reuse of agroindustry wastes, development of natural ingredients and food physicochemical properties. Nowdays, she is a researcher at Embrapa Food Technology and acts as a professor in the Graduate Program in Food Science of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
