Christiann Davis Tosta graduated in agronomic engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos in 2001. He holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of São Paulo-USP since 2002 and a PhD in Chemistry from UNESP Araraquara. He is an Occupational Safety Engineer from UFSJ and has a degree in Professional Education from Centro Paula Souza. Finished a postdoctoral degree at UFSCar in 2022. He is a Theology student at A.W. Tozer Seminary in São Paulo and was a professor at the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso-IFMT, holding the position of vice-director of the São Vicente campus, also responsible for the research department. He is currently a professor at the Federal Institute of São Paulo - IFSP campus Matão, where he served as general director from 2015 to 2021. He works in the areas of food technology and ethanol production, especially with technological innovation, fruit processing sub-areas, milk, sensory analysis, microbiology, fermentation and chemical ecology. The abundant terms in his curriculum are: value addition, organic mango, alligator from the swamp, vegetable dehydration, Lactobacillus, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, yeast biotyping, plant diseases, fermentation, killer yeast, identification of yeast, milk and dairy products and fly -of-fruit.
