Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) and coordinator of the Center for Indigenous Amazon Studies (NEAI). He has a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the State University of Campinas (2001), a PhD in Social Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a post-doctoral internship at the Laboratoire de Anthropologie Social of the Université de Nanterre (Paris X). Productivity Fellow PQFAP EAM I (FAPEAM). Currently developing studies and research on indigenous groups and their relationship with Amazonian plants and landscapes, and is accompanying the production of anthropological knowledge by indigenous students in the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology at UFAM.
