Maria Lucila Hernández Macedo

Graduate in Biological Science at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia MG- Brazil (1996), Master in Cellular and Structural Biology at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001) and Ph.D. in Cellular and Structural Biology at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2006). Has experience in Genetics and Molecular Biology with emphasis on Genetics of Microorganisms, acting on the following topics: Genic and protein expression of fungi involved in the degradation of lignocellulosic residues, Isolation and identification of microbial communities and antimicrobial and cytotoxic activity of plant extracts.Since 2011, he has been assistant teacher of the postgraduate program in Industrial Biotechnology at Tiradentes University and is a researcher at the Institute of Technology and Research- Sergipe- Brazil.
