Giuseppe Pintaude

graduate at Engenharia Metalúrgica from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1996), master's at Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (1998) and ph.d. at Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2002). Currently, he is full professor at Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR). He was coordinator of Post-Graduate Program in Mechanical and Materials Science Engineering and institutional coordinator of CT-Infra 2008. Between 2015 and 2016 he was visitor at School of Metallurgy and Materials of University of Birmingham (UK). He has experience in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, focusing on Mechanical Properties of Metals and Alloys, acting on the following subjects: cast irons, coatings, stainless steels, abrasive particles, and mineral oils.
