Eder Joao Lenardao

He has a degree in Chemistry - Bachelor's, from the State University of Londrina (1991), a Master's degree in Chemistry (Organic Synthesis) from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1994) and a PhD in Sciences - Organic Chemistry from USP in Ribeirão Preto (1997). He did a post-doctorate at the Federal University of Santa Maria (2003-2004, CNPq scholarship). He was a visiting professor at the Università degli Studi di Perugia (2015-2016, Scholarship from the Senior Internship Abroad Program funded by CAPES). He is a full professor at the Federal University of Pelotas and teaches General Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Advanced Organic Chemistry and Projects in Organic Synthesis for the Chemistry courses. He was coordinator of the Chemistry Graduate Program between March 2007 and August 2011 and a member of the FAPERGS Chemistry Advisory Committee between August 2006 and July 2009. He is a member of the board of professors of the PhD Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences of University of Perugis, Italy. He is an elected member of the International Advisory Board of the SeS Redox and Catalysis International Network, the International Conference on the Chemistry of Selenium and Tellurium (ICCST) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). In 2022, he received the Gaucho Researcher Award in Chemistry from FAPERGS. In 2023 he received the title of Honorary Member of the Argentine Society for Research in Organic Chemistry (SAIQO).
