Oswaldo Massambani is a Physicist and Full Professor of the Institute for Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (IAG / USP). He holds a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from McGill University - Montreal, Canada in 1982 with postdoc at the Centre National d'Etudes des Télécommunications (CNET) of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) today France Telecom - Issy-les-Moulineaux, Paris, França em 1984 and Livre-Docente from the University São Paulo in 1987. He is author of 149 articles published in national and international journals and national and international conferences, including books and articles in books. Has led several national and international projects in the area of #8203;#8203;development and application of technologies for radar and on microwave radiometry. He was Director of IAG-USP and Pro-Tempore Director of the EACH-USP. Having focused the last decade on management of Science, Technology and Innovation, was Sub Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Economic Development of the State of São Paulo and the founder and coordinator of the University of Sao Paulo Agency for Innovation. He is currently responsible for the implementation and coordination of the Agency for Innovation INOVA Paula Souza of the State Center of Technological Education Paula Souza, and is the Vice-President of FORTEC - the National Association Forum of Managers of Innovation and Technology Transfer, having also held the position of Head of the Innovation Superintendence of FINEP in São Paulo. He is a member of the Superior Council of National Studies and Policy of FIESP and currently holds the position of Technical Advisor of the Regional Board of SENAI-SP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
