Karen Barros Moreira

Bachelor in Dentistry from University of Uberaba (1998), Master (2001) and PhD degree (2003) in Pharmacology from School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). I have experience in Pharmacology, Research Methods and Biostatistics since 2003 to undergraduate and post graduate students (specialization, master and doctorate courses). I have been working as a formal researcher in Clinical Pharmacology and Neurosciences, with main research interests in: Effects of Drug Bruden in Elderly, Clinical Investigation of Pain and Pharmacological treatment of Psychiatric Diseases. Until now, I have supervised 25 master degree students, 04 students from doctorate and 02 from Post doctoral fellowship. Concerning the academic area, I am professor at School of Medicine of Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), Collaborator Professor at the Graduate Program in Health Sciences from PUCPR and Associate Professor of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), Canadá, collaborating in disciplines and research projects.
