I have a degree in Biomedical Science from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Unesp (1997). I completed my Masters (2001) and Ph.D. (2004) in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Mastology (FMB/Unesp), and I did my Post-doctorate in General and Applied Biology (Unesp) in a project with the participation of the University of Tronso (Norway). I am currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso - Campus Universitário do Araguaia. I was coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology and Parasitology (2013-2015) and I coordinate the Research Group Physiology and Reproductive Toxicology and responsible for the Laboratory of Systems Physiology and Reproductive Toxicology (FisioTox). I have experience in the field of Embryology, with an emphasis on toxicological studies and involving the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD), working mainly on the following topics: Teratology, Diabetes and Plants.
