Graduated in Geophysics from the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (2003) and has PhD in Geophysics from the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences (2008). Worked as a researcher for Schlumberger in Stavanger / Norway (2011) developing methodologies for seismic data interpretation and as a researcher at the GeoForschungsZentrum / Potsdam / Germany institute with implementation of data acquisition and data sharing infrastructure for researchers at GEOFON (2011-2012). Since 2013 he is a Professor at the University of São Paulo. Has experience in Seismology with emphasis on data acquisition, processing and sharing. In the research area, he works on the following subjects: receiver function, tomography, real-time earthquake detection, macroseismic data collection and focus on the structure of the crust and mantle.
